Literasi dan Kewarganegaraan Digital: Konsep dan Strategi Implementasi dalam Pendidikan di Malaysia
Abstract
Literasi dan kewarganegaraan digital tidak banyak dibincangkan dalam konteks pendidikan di Malaysia. Meskipun penggunaannya sudah meluas, namun wujud kelompangan berkaitan pemahaman serta implementasinya dalam sistem pendidikan. Kertas kerja ini menjelaskan konsep literasi dan kewarganegaraan digital serta beberapa strategi pelaksanaan literasi dan kewarganegaraan digital yang boleh dilaksanakan dalam pendidikan di Malaysia. Strategi yang diusulkan adalah pengukuhan penguasaan literasi digital, penerapan pendidikan kewarganegaraan digital dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran, mempromosikan kurikulum asas etika dan standard tingkah laku dalam platform digital, memperkasakan guru daripada aspek pemahaman literasi digital dan kewarganegaraan; serta meningkatkan pemahaman ibu bapa mengenai teknologi. Kertas konsep ini memberikan implikasi kepada usaha untuk melahirkan garis panduan tingkah laku yang penting melibatkan penggunaan media digital. Garis panduan ini akan membawa kepada perubahan cara kerja dan implementasi yang lebih berhemah kepada komuniti pendidikan di Malaysia. Cadangan lanjut boleh dibuat dengan menghubungkan pemahaman literasi dan kewarganegaraan digital dengan pemboleh ubah lain seperti jati diri, kemahiran teknologi dan semangat kenegaraan.
