Pelaksanaan Dasar Sifar Penolakan, Bersediakah Guru Sekolah Pendidikan Khas?

Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia telah melaksanakan Dasar Sifar Penolakan secara menyeluruh pada tahun 2019 sebagai satu inisiatif dalam mewujudkan peluang dan kesamarataan dalam pendidikan khususnya bagi golongan kanak-kanak berkeperluan khas. Pelaksanaan dasar ini menerima reaksi yang pelbagai terutamanya dari kalangan guru-guru sekolah dalam arus perdana termasuklah guru-guru pendidikan khas. Sehubungan dengan itu, satu kajian telah dijalankan di Daerah Penampang, Sabah untuk mengetahui tahap kesediaan dalam kalangan guru sekolah pendidikan khas (SPK). Tahap kesediaan ini merangkumi aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap. Kajian tinjauan secara deskriptif dijalankan ke atas 30 orang guru SPK yang dipilih secara persampelan bertujuan, Data tahap kesediaan guru SPK diperoleh dengan menggunakan soal selidik di mana min, frekuensi dan peratus dianalisis untuk mendapatkan dapatan kajian. Untuk menguji hipotesis kajian analisis inferensi dengan ujian ANOVA satu hala dijalankan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kesediaan pengetahuan dan kemahiran guru SPK berada pada tahap yang tinggi dengan nilai purata min bagi kedua-dua aspek adalah 3.74. Tahap kesediaan dari aspek sikap pula berada pada tahap sederhana iaitu dengan nilai purata min sebanyak 2.98. Manakala analisis ANOVA menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara tahap pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap guru SPK terhadap pelaksanaan Dasar Sifar Penolakan berdasarkan bilangan tahun mengajar. Kajian ini memberi implikasi terhadap amalan guru khusus dari aspek kesediaan dalam mendepani pelaksanaan Dasar Sifar Penolakan.
