Analisis Kepercayaan dan Amalan Pembelajaran Pelajar Terhadap Budaya Melayu dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Melayu di IAAS, Rusia
Abstract
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kepercayaan dan amalan pembelajaran pelajar terhadap budaya Melayu dalam mempelajari bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa asing berdasarkan kompetensi komunikatif antara budaya (KKAB). Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam kajian ini dengan melibatkan soal selidik sebagai instrumen utama. Kajian ini menggunakan pensampelan bertujuan untuk memilih sampel yang memenuhi kriteria bagi mencapai objektif kajian. Oleh itu, seramai 30 orang pelajar program Bahasa Melayu di Institute of Asian and African Studies (IAAS), Moscow State University, Rusia dipilih untuk dijadikan responden. Kajian ini turut menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan temu bual bagi menyokong data kuantitatif. Lima orang pelajar terlibat sebagai peserta kajian. Kajian ini menunjukkan pelajar IAAS percaya bahawa aspek budaya Melayu adalah aspek penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa asing. Berdasarkan amalan pembelajaran budaya menurut kerangka KKAB, didapati pelajar IAAS lebih kerap melakukan amalan bagi membangunkan sikap antara budaya yang positif (min=3.65), berbanding amalan bagi membangunkan pengetahuan terhadap budaya Melayu (min=3.57) dan kemahiran mempraktikkan budaya Melayu (min=2.85). Dapatan kajian ini mengimplikasikan kepentingan pengajaran dan pembelajaran budaya Melayu terhadap kefahaman dan motivasi pelajar terhadap bahasa Melayu.
