Memperkasakan Keusahawanan Luar Bandar Melalui Pendidikan ICT: Cabaran dan Potensi di Kubang Pasu, Kedah
Abstract
mengubah dan meningkatkan taraf hidup sesebuah komuniti khususnya di luar bandar. Malah, keusahawanan yang berteraskan teknologi komunikasi dan maklumat (ICT) sentiasa menjadi antara topik perbincangan pelbagai peringkat sektor yang terlibat dalam pemerkasaan dan intervensi keusahawanan. Penyediaan pendidikan secara berterusan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat luar bandar dan memperkenalkan elemen pendidikan berasaskan ICT misalnya melalui perniagaan digital bertujuan untuk menggalakkan peluang ekonomi dalam kalangan usahawan luar bandar. Bagaimanapun, masih ada isu kekurangan pengetahuan dan capaian yang mengekang potensi pelaksanaan perniagaan digital khasnya di luar bandar. Situasi ini menyumbang kepada timbulnya isu dan cabaran dalam kalangan usahawan untuk mengaplikasikan perniagaan digital khususnya di luar bandar. Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti isu dan cabaran usahawan luar bandar mengaplikasikan perniagaan digital dalam kalangan peniaga kecil. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah pensampelan bertujuan dengan memilih sampel kajian seramai 158 usahawan kecil luar bandar dalam Daerah Kubang Pasu, Kedah berdasarkan senarai ahli dari pelbagai Kumpulan Peniaga Kubang Pasu. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat isu dan cabaran yang dihadapi oleh responden dalam mengaplikasikan perniagaan digital dalam kalangan mereka. Antaranya kemahiran digital terhad, kurang penglibatan dalam latihan mengenai pemasaran digital atau e-dagang, tiada kemampuan melabur dalam teknologi digital, dan kurang menerima sebarang sokongan teknologi digital dari mana-mana organisasi. Sehubungan itu, adalah amat relevan dan signifikan kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengetahui cabaran dan isu berkaitan agar kelebihan pendidikan berteraskan ICT melalui aplikasi perniagaan digital dapat dioptimumkan dalam kalangan usahawan luar bandar.
