Abstract

Kertas kajian berbentuk tinjauan umum ini dihasilkan adalah untuk meninjau isu-isu kejurulatihan pidato dalam kalangan guru Bahasa Melayu di sekolah rendah. Penulisan ini menekankan isu dan kelompongan berkaitan pengajaran kemahiran berpidato dalam bidang pendidikan terutamanya di peringkat sekolah rendah. Artikel ini juga menunjukkan dapatan tinjauan umum berkaitan isu-isu pengajaran kemahiran berpidato di dalam dan di luar negara. Tuntasnya, dapatan penulisan ini membuktikan bahawa wujud keperluan membangunkan modul kejurulatihan pidato kepada guru Bahasa Melayu di sekolah rendah hasil daripada penerokaan literatur yang diperoleh. Penulisan ini diharap dapat memberikan sumbangan dalam bidang ilmu dan sorotan literatur kepada pengkaji yang lain.
