Personaliti Big Five dan Profesionalisme Guru: Sebuah Kajian Literatur Sistematik
Abstract
Memahami personaliti Big Five bukan sahaja membantu guru mengenali diri mereka, tetapi juga menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan keberkesanan pengajaran. Kajian ini bertujuan meninjau secara sistematik hubungan antara trait personaliti Big Five dan profesionalisme guru, berfokus kepada prestasi kerja, kepuasan kerja, tingkah laku, kecekapan, bakat mengajar dan kejayaan kerjaya. Pencarian artikel melalui pangkalan data utama seperti Scopus, Google Scholar, Science Direct, dan Academia menemui 20 artikel yang menepati kriteria yang ditetapkan. Kajian ini menggunakan Model PRISMA sebagai panduan dalam pencarian literatur. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa trait personaliti seperti Conscientiousness dan Openness dikaitkan dengan prestasi kerja yang lebih baik, penglibatan kerja yang tinggi, serta kejayaan kerjaya yang lebih memuaskan. Sebaliknya, personaliti Neuroticism memberi impak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan dan penglibatan kerja. Di sektor pendidikan, guru dengan ciri Openness dan Extraversion menunjukkan keberkesanan pengajaran yang lebih tinggi dan kesejahteraan yang lebih baik. Sebaliknya, personaliti Neuroticism berpotensi menghalang prestasi pengajaran. Kajian ini juga mendapati bahawa perubahan personaliti seiring usia mempengaruhi pendekatan pengajaran. Implikasi kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai personaliti Big Five dan membantu dalam merancang program pengembangan profesional yang lebih efektif untuk guru. Ini adalah untuk merancang program pengembangan profesional yang menyokong perkembangan personaliti positif di kalangan guru, yang dapat meningkatkan keberkesanan pengajaran dan kesejahteraan mental pendidik, serta menyumbang kepada pencapaian akademik pelajar dan membuka ruang untuk penyelidikan lanjut dalam bidang psikologi pendidikan serta peningkatan kualiti pendidikan secara keseluruhan.
